I just got back from the opening event for zanox’ new Global Alliance Partners Campus. It’s an office space right next to the zanox headquarters serving as an incubator for new publishers. As far as I understand affiliates can use the zanox premises to work on their projects for using zanox as their affiliate and tracking network in exchange.
At the event zanox also promised the development of various APIs in order to let advertisers and publishers access as much information as possible without the usual web interface. In theory developers would then be able to create as much as their own sub-affiliate networks.
All this is a great step forward and convinced me that they are Germany’s most relevant affiliate network. They may not be the number one in terms of traffic yet, but they will be. Competitors are too far behind and way too slow to catch up. Good stuff, guys.

I thought they were? Do you think Affili.net’s 80 million Euros a year are more than they are doing?

I was there, too. Really good idea the campus thing.
I think beside the given facts, there is one really interesting thing beside the office space.
Zanox offered a contest for best money making web applications. The first price: 1 Million Euro!!!!
Yesterday they said: More information will follow today on their campus blog.

the campus thing is a pretty good idea. but i dont believe that not many potential affiliates will use the space.
zanox is maybe besides affili.net the #1 in germany but not in the world at all. there are others outthere. and the reason why they are strong in germany lies in the fact that they use a lot of shit traffic! come on guys be honest do you believe that there are 1.000.000 affiliates out there?
